Sainsbury's has announced the launch of a second Christmas advert, to debut during the ad breaks of Channel 4's Gogglebox, tonight.

Three of the Gogglebox households (Jenny & Lee, Giles & Mary and Stephen & Chris) star in the ad as stop-frame animations. Gogglebox's creator and executive producer Tania Alexander commented 'We are fiercely protective of both the Gogglebox brand and the Gogglebox cast and only consider brands with an obvious fit - Sainsbury's really fitted the bill and we were delighted to be able to work with Sainsbury’s and Channel 4 on the project. The cast involved thoroughly enjoyed the filming and making of the ad and from my point of view it’s instantly recognisable as a Gogglebox moment but with something uniquely special on top'.
